NAS 410 / EN 4179 Aerospace NDT Personnel Qualification
NAS 410 is the aerospace-industry standard for qualification and certification of NDT personnel in the manufacture and overhaul of aerospace products, harmonized with EN 4179 in Europe.
Definition
NAS 410 supersedes the older MIL-STD-410 for commercial aerospace NDT. It defines Level I, II, and III qualification analogous to SNT-TC-1A but with tighter training-hour requirements and required experience for safety-critical aerospace inspection. EN 4179 is the European edition (identical content).
