Radiographic Testing (RT) Services in Phoenix 2026 — ASNT Level III Led
Atlantis NDT delivers professional Radiographic Testing (RT) inspection services in Phoenix from ASNT NDT Level II + III certified inspectors. Specialising in weld inspection, casting evaluation, pipe inspection and volumetric flaw detection. RT demand around Phoenix comes mainly from semiconductor, aerospace & solar. Technicians are qualified to the governing SNT-TC-1A written practice, and procedures and reports are reviewed by an ASNT NDT Level III (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT). Where we work: nationwide. Technicians are mobilised to your site anywhere in the USA; apart from the Houston office there is no local office, so mobilisation is planned and quoted for each job.

Need radiographic testing (RT) done, or learned?
Atlantis provides radiographic testing (RT) as an inspection service, trains technicians in it, and lets teams practise it on the Practical NDT simulator.
Prepare a useful radiographic examination scope
Provide the material, section thickness, weld or component drawing and the required image coverage. State whether the project permits film, computed radiography or digital detector techniques, and identify the controlling acceptance document.
Understand the technique limitations
Source and detector access, object geometry and discontinuity orientation affect what an image can show. Radiography uses ionising radiation. An appropriately authorised provider must plan radiation protection and access controls under the applicable local requirements. A service enquiry is not a radiation-safety plan.
Specify the records and review
Agree image identification, image-quality evidence, interpretation responsibilities and retention before work starts. The report should identify the areas imaged and any limitations; a retained image does not establish coverage of an entire component.
