iTwin is exceptionally strong on engineering geometry and the infrastructure lifecycle. Where the source of truth is design and construction data — reality meshes, BIM models, large federated engineering models across disciplines — Bentley's handling of that geometry and its change over time is a genuine differentiator, and its infrastructure heritage is real.
