Welding Fabrication Shops in Riyadh

Fabrication shops that perform NDT in-house or manage NDT subcontractors can use the Atlantis NDT ERP to control that work. NDT Reports covers RT, CR, UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT, VT, PWHT, PMI, Hardness and Ferrite, with weld lines recording defect type and orientation, and references to WPS, drawing, contract and procedure. Reports move through review and approval with signatures, and third-party or authorised inspector signature is supported.

Project tasks record component, method, technician, result and indication counts with WPS references. Technician certifications, vision tests and exams are tracked. Equipment calibration is tracked per serial number. Welder qualification and material traceability are outside the standard product and are configured during implementation if required.

Scope the implementation in Riyadh

Use your own report templates, personnel records and equipment register to evaluate the proposed configuration. Confirm the contracting entity, hosting location, support hours, data access and any onsite work in the proposal. Location in this guide does not establish a local office, customer endorsement or pre-approved configuration.

Follow the work from start to finish

A project is opened for the fabrication job with the client PO, codes and acceptance criteria. NDT is requested for weld packages as project tasks, and inspectors are assigned with calibrated equipment. Inspectors record results against each weld with WPS and drawing references, defect type and orientation, and an overall result of acceptable, not acceptable or acceptable with remarks. Repairs are re-inspected and reported the same way.

Reports are reviewed, approved and signed, including by the authorised or third-party inspector where required, and output in the client's template. Signed reports are gathered for the data book, and in-house NDT hours or subcontracted NDT costs are recorded against the project.

Check the evidence, permissions and handover

Fabrication data books need every weld's NDT results with the right references and signatures. With WPS and drawing references on each report and weld lines recording defects, NDT results can be pulled together consistently. PWHT, PMI, Hardness and Ferrite reports sit in the same system.

During the trial, ask one user to create a record and another to review it. Make a correction, check which version a customer receives, and export the final record with its references. Record any manual steps or configuration gaps in the acceptance checklist.

Software organises evidence; it does not grant personnel certification, laboratory accreditation or customer approval. Confirm the requirements that apply to your work with the responsible technical or quality manager.

Questions about welding fabrication shops

Does the ERP track welder qualifications?

Not as standard. Welder qualification tracking is configured during implementation if required.

Can the authorised inspector sign reports?

Yes. Reports record a third-party or authorised inspector name and signature.

Are PMI and hardness reports supported?

Yes. PMI, Hardness, Ferrite and PWHT are among the 17 report types.

Choose the next step

Request the 14-day ERP trial to work through a representative job. Use the integration scoping guide for external systems: a REST API connection needs an agreed data mapping, implementation and test plan.
