Oilfield Services in Toronto

Oilfield service companies performing NDT on tubulars, wellhead equipment and field facilities can run their inspection operations on the Atlantis NDT ERP. Team Assignments dispatches crews with site GPS coordinates and mobilisation and demobilisation dates, and blocks double-booking of technicians and equipment. NDT Reports covers UT, UTT, MT, PT, VT, MFL scans and other methods, with job lines recording items, defect type and orientation, and signatures from inspector, reviewer and approver.

Technician certifications, vision tests and medical fitness expiry are tracked. Equipment is tracked by serial number with calibration and issue approvals. Timesheets separate inspection, travel, standby and setup time with a rate multiplier, which supports day-rate and standby billing. Joint-by-joint tally tracking and client contractor-portal documents are configured during implementation where required.

Scope the implementation in Toronto

Use your own report templates, personnel records and equipment register to evaluate the proposed configuration. Confirm the contracting entity, hosting location, support hours, data access and any onsite work in the proposal. Location in this guide does not establish a local office, customer endorsement or pre-approved configuration.

Records and controls to evaluate

  • Crew dispatch with GPS site coordinates and mobilisation dates
  • Technician and equipment double-booking blocked
  • MFL reports with scan mode and item lines
  • UT, UTT, MT, PT and VT reports with job lines and defect orientation
  • Technician certification, vision-test and medical fitness tracking
  • Serial-number equipment with calibration and issue approvals
  • Timesheets by work type (inspection, travel, standby, setup) with rate multiplier
  • Invoices with labour, equipment and consumables subtotals

Follow the work from start to finish

A call-out is logged against the client and opened as a team assignment with the well site or yard location and mobilisation dates. The coordinator checks technician availability and certifications and assigns the crew, and the system blocks anyone already committed elsewhere. The crew takes calibrated equipment issued with supervisor and manager approval, and a suitable vehicle is assigned through Fleet. Results are recorded in the offline field app, with MFL item lines or job lines capturing each item inspected.

Reports are reviewed and approved, and sent to the client. Travel, standby, setup and inspection time are approved and invoiced with the client PO, with labour, equipment and consumables shown separately.

Check the evidence, permissions and handover

Oilfield work is call-out driven, with standby and travel making up much of the billable time. Timesheets by work type and invoices with labour, equipment and consumables subtotals capture it properly. MFL item lines and job lines give structure to tubular inspection results.

During the trial, ask one user to create a record and another to review it. Make a correction, check which version a customer receives, and export the final record with its references. Record any manual steps or configuration gaps in the acceptance checklist.

Software organises evidence; it does not grant personnel certification, laboratory accreditation or customer approval. Confirm the requirements that apply to your work with the responsible technical or quality manager.

Questions about oilfield services

Can we bill standby time?

Yes. Timesheets record standby as a work type with a rate multiplier, and approved hours feed invoicing.

Is there a report type for MFL?

Yes. MFL reports record scan mode and item lines.

Do you sync with contractor-management portals?

No. Any portal-related document tracking is configured during implementation as part of the agreed scope.

Choose the next step

Request the 14-day ERP trial to work through a representative job. Use the integration scoping guide for external systems: a REST API connection needs an agreed data mapping, implementation and test plan.
