No — they overlap but serve different jobs. PI System is fundamentally a real-time process historian: it excels at high-frequency time-series capture from PLCs and DCS for process variables (temperature, pressure, flow). Atlantis Digital Twin is an inspection-data-led integrity twin: it excels at storing and visualizing thickness grids, defect maps, FFS calculations, and RBI scoring on a 3D asset model.
